School of Information Technology and Data Science

The school is an educational and scientific structural unit of the Irkutsk National Research Technical University (INRTU), carrying out educational, research, cultural and design activities in the field of computer science, information technology and data science.

The school carries out educational activities for the implementation of the basic educational programs of higher education (undergraduate and graduate programs), training programs for scientific and pedagogical personnel in the profile of the School and additional education programs.

Training is conducted in full-time and part-time forms. Highly qualified faculty staff, including foreign professors, experts and specialists from leading IT companies involved in the school, adequately prepare and deliver theoretical and practical classes in the discipline.

Students are challenged to participate in research projects and create their own start-ups.

We are equipped with more than 400 computers, allowing students to study practically and conduct research. The computers arrangement is on one Information computer network based on modern powerful products. Students have free access to the Internet and use the latest technology of the world's modern computers, software, and lab equipment.
