Transfer from another university

As a general rule, transfer from the initial university to the host institution is allowed no earlier than after passing the first intermediate certification at the original university.
Step 1. Get a certificate of the period of study from your original institution.

Request a certificate of study period from your original institution within five working days. This certificate must include a complete summary and volume of studied subjects and transcript with grades earned during your intermediate certification.

Step 2. Contact INRTU with a transfer application request

Submit your transfer application request along with the obtained certificate of study period from your original institution and other documents (at your discretion) confirming your educational achievements to INRTU for review. When transferring to study at the expense of budget funds, it is necessary to record in the transfer application the fact that the student meets the requirements for such a transfer.

Step 3. Wait for the decision of INRTU

The host university (INRTU) within 14 calendar days from the date of the submission of your transfer application request evaluates the documents received, determines the disciplines that will be retaken or re-certified, as well as the period from which you will be allowed to study in the case of transfer approval. If more applications than the number of vacant places are submitted, the host institution conducts a competitive selection among the pool of applicants.

Within five calendar days from the date of the decision on enrollment, the host institution will issue you a certificate of translation with attachment detailing studied subjects, internships, scientific research and courses to be retaken or re-certified during translation.

Step 4. Make a deduction from the source university

To do this, write a statement about the expulsion of you from the original university in the order of transfer with the application of the transfer certificate. Within three working days from the date of receipt of these documents, the original university will issue an order for your expulsion in connection with the transfer to another university (paragraphs 15, 16 of the Procedure).

Then, within three working days from the date of issuing the order, you will be given an extract from the order on expulsion, a document on education or on education and qualification, on the basis of which you were enrolled in a university (hereinafter - a document on previous education). They can be obtained in person or through a representative by proxy. Also, according to your application, it is possible to send them by mail to your address or to the address of the host institution.

In this case, you will need to return a student ID card and a record book to the original university.

Step 5. Enroll in a host university

Present to the receiving university an extract from the order of the original university about the deduction in connection with the transfer and the received document on previous education (original or certified copy).

Within three working days after the receipt of these documents, the host institution will issue an order for your admission in connection with the transfer. If you apply for paid tuition, an education agreement must be concluded with you before issuing an order for your admission. Within five working days from the date of issuance of the enrollment order, you will be issued a student card and a record book.
