En+ Holding organized lectures on Artificial Intelligence, information security and server infrastructure for IT Academy students

En+ holding organized educational lectures for the participants of the third stream of the IT Academy program. Zoya Volovikova, a representative of The Federal Research Center "Informatics and Management" of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and leading specialists of En+ Digital gave presentations.

The opening of the third stream of the IT Academy was held at INRTU Technopark on March 30. More than 120 students from Irkutsk Technical University, Irkutsk State University and Bratsk State University were recommended to participate in the new intake.

Andrey Afanasyev, the head of the information security department of "En+ Digital" started the series of lectures in the scientific library of the Irkutsk State University on April 22. During his speech, students learned about methods and tools to deal with external cyber threats.

Andrey Afanasyev says,

"Information security is relevant to both large companies and ordinary PC users. It is important for information security specialists to think a lot and be able to analyze the situation."

Pavel Shutov, chief specialist of the department of adaptation of server infrastructure for PC programs and databases, told about the main processes of "En+ Digital" in the field of server and network infrastructure management.

The future IT specialists learned about the process of technical support of infrastructure and users, and the main tools used for network and server maintenance.

Pavel Shutov added,

"We  offer students not only to master the existing platforms, but also to contribute to their development as part of the internship."

Zoya Volovikova from the Federal Research Center "Informatics and Management" of the Russian Academy of Sciences gave a lecture in a remote format. She talked about the peculiarities of forming queries for multitasking chatbots based on artificial intelligence.

Egor Novikov, a second-year student at School of Information Technology and Data Science, shared his impressions of the educational intensive:

“We get lectures from current IT specialists at IT Academy. This allows us to understand better the specifics of our future work. I am fond of Artificial Intelligence, I follow new trends in this area. I learned about the possibilities of AI, received valuable advice on its application. For example, the speaker told how to influence the behavior of ChatGPT bot. You need to know the key phrases and patterns, and use more specific requests to do that.”

Egor Novikov is mastering the automation of control systems at university. He intends to receive additional training in ERP platforms at the IT Academy.

The work of the third stream at INRTU is supervised by Anastasia Loskutnikova, a specialist from School of Information Technology and Data Science. She said that the first stage of the program is an introductory one:

"The participants of the project have already visited the offices of "En+ Digital" and "Irkutskenergosvyaz". The students will go on excursions to thermal power station, hydro power station and IrkAZ in May. At the moment the participants are learning the basics of 1C programming and have started developing IT projects, the defense is scheduled for May".
