Mechatronics and Robot systems is a bachelor's degree program that provides graduates with skills required to design robots and robotic systems for both industrial and non-industrial purposes and to develop software and algorithmic support for controlling and operating robotic systems.
The program provides graduates with knowledge in mechanics, electrical engineering and computer science. Graduates are provided with skills required to operate automated and robotic systems, electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drives, software used in the design and manufacture of innovative facility control systems, electronic equipment and operating systems.

Learning outcomes
- Designing robots and robotic systems for both industrial and non-industrial purposes;
- simulating information, electromechanical, electrohydraulic, electronic and microprocessor system modules;
- preparing design documents for the manufacture of mechatronic systems and robots and their parts;
- debugging, improving and reprogramming mechatronic and robotic systems;
- developing equipment and software manuals
Career opportunities
Graduates are provided with skills required to design, manufacture, operate and market mechatronic and robotic systems used in the aircraft building, space, military technology, automobile, medical, photo and video equipment manufacturing industries. In their early careers, graduates can work as technicians and design assistants. In their later careers, they can work as design engineers, mechatronics engineers, testing engineers, systems engineers, automated control systems engineers, etc.

Applicants take a computer entrance exam in Russian or provide CEFR level B1, TORFL level 1 or equivalent to the Russian-taught program.
