The principles of organization and functioning of computers, possible areas of their application are studied; methods and programming tools, database management systems, integrated environments, capabilities and features of their application in the development of automated systems; principles, methods and means of system analysis and decision-making; methods and means of protecting computer information; modern methods and tools for the development of automated information processing and control systems; project management; software for multimedia technologies; means of specification of functional tasks and design solutions; models and structures of information networks, assessments of their effectiveness, network technologies.
