About the program
Thermal power plants are the leaders of the Russian and world energy in the production of electricity. Therefore, the profile "Modern technologies and engineering in thermal power engineering" makes it possible to get one of the most reliable professions. In the course of preparation, students study technologies for the production of electric and thermal energy, equipment of thermal power plants of various types, systems for the supply of thermal energy to consumers, reliability issues, digital diagnostics and regulation of thermal power systems, engineering of energy-efficient technologies, environmental safety, as well as digital technologies used in thermal power engineering.
Learning outcomes
- Understanding of the process of maintenance and management of technological processes, ensuring control and safety at work;
- Ability to carry out calculations of technological equipment, thermal circuits;
- Skills of conducting experiments and analyzing the results;
- Skills of conducting a preliminary feasibility study when choosing modernization options;
- Knowledge of the process of repair, commissioning and installation works.
