About the program
The program involves the possession by graduates of the issues of survey, design, technology, organization, planning, management and economics in new construction, reconstruction, restoration and operation of various industrial and civil facilities and engineering structures, control and supervision of construction, performing the functions of an investor, customer, developer, contractor, performing an examination of project documentation, examining the technical condition buildings and structures, the formation of the price of construction products, taxation in construction. The specific features of the implementation of professional activities in various hydrogeological, climatic, seismic conditions are studied. Mandatory requirements for environmental safety and energy saving. Much attention in the training program is paid to the issues of ensuring the quality of construction products, as well as labor protection. The disciplines of the curriculum reflect both the current level and the prospects for the development of the construction industry. Students acquire the skills of research activities.
Learning outcomes
- Knowledge of the structure of the construction industry, forms, goals of capital construction tasks, methods and stages of their implementation
- Ability to carry out professional activities at all stages of capital construction - from the preparatory period when an informed decision is made on the construction of facilities, then at the stages of engineering surveys. Design, examination of project documentation, construction, reconstruction, overhaul with mandatory quality control of work, commissioning of the object and in the future - periodic monitoring of buildings and structures during operation.
- Ability to master the methods, instrumental and instrumental support of research and design using modern design and graphic software products, laboratory studies of the physical and chemical properties of building materials, design indicators of structures and products, diagnostic equipment for monitoring the technical condition of capital construction facilities.
Career opportunities
Graduates of this direction can work in: Organizations, services of institutions of any form of ownership, carrying out technical justification planning of investments in the construction industry, accounting, analysis of the effectiveness of economic costs (engineer, planner, expert, controller, analyst). Activities in organizations engaged in engineering surveys and design of capital construction facilities (engineer, designer). Construction organizations, enterprises, companies performing new construction, reconstruction, restoration, overhaul of capital construction facilities (manager, site manager, foreman, foreman). Public and private sector enterprises that are customers for the construction of facilities, construction supervision and control services including requirements for environmental friendliness, fire and electrical safety, labor protection (expert, construction supervision engineer, technical supervision engineer, etc.)

Entrance exams
Applicants take a computer entrance exam in Russian or provide CEFR level B1, TORFL level 1 or equivalent to the Russian-taught program.
