About the program

The program provides training for highly qualified economists-financiers in the field of organization and financial management of enterprises of the fuel and energy complex. Students learn to analyze the financial statements of companies in the fuel and energy complex, calculate their financial indicators, assess financial risks, and carry out calculations using modern technical means and special software products. Students practice in identifying trends in the development of financial and energy markets in Russia and abroad.

Learning outcomes

  • Financial and economic analysis of fuel and energy sector organizations using modern technical means and special programmes
  • Assessment of the financial risks of fuel and energy sector organizations and development of a set of protective measures
  • Participation in drafting long-term and annual electricity transmission plans, making cost projections for the following year
  • Determination of the economic efficiency of the organization of work and production, and the introduction of new equipment and technology
