Department of Construction Operations
About the program
All cycles of study: humanitarian, social and economic; mathematical and natural science; professional; - focused on the features of the construction and operation of unique objects - large-length and high-rise buildings and structures, taking into account urban trends in the development of construction, increased technical complexity and architectural expressiveness, ensuring dynamic and seismic reliability and stability. It is planned to master advanced design technologies using the latest information systems. The application of modern traditional and avant-garde technologies for the production of construction and installation works, effective organizational schemes, issues of planning, pricing, economic justification and accounting, as well as the features of the professional activities of investors, developers, contractors, employees of supervisory and regulatory bodies and issues of regulatory and legal regulation of construction activities, environmental safety and energy saving are considered.
Learning outcomes
- Knowledge of materials, products and structures used for the construction of unique buildings and structures, their design solution and economic feasibility of their construction.
- Ability to carry out activities at the preparatory stage of the construction of high-rise and high-bay buildings and structures: the collection of baseline data and technical specifications, engineering surveys, conceptual, variant design.
- Knowledge of the objectives, composition, content and stages of design of unique buildings and structures, the procedure of examination of design documentation and the procedure for obtaining a building permit.
- Ability to carry out current periodic monitoring of the technical condition of buildings and structures to assess the performance of individual structural elements and facilities as a whole.
Career opportunities
Graduates of this direction can work: Services, organizations of any form of ownership, carrying out technical and economic feasibility study of investment planning in the construction of high-rise and high-bay buildings and structures. (engineer, designer, expert, analyst).
