About the program

Equipment and technology of welding production refers to the field of science and technology, which includes a set of means, techniques and methods of human activity aimed at the research, development and application of various welding processes.
The high efficiency of the welding process has predetermined its widespread use in all industries - from space research, nuclear power and field pipelines to instrument making industry, communications and even medicine and biotechnology. In the process of welding metals, metal structures are formed in the zone of thermal influence, which ensure the operability of the weld. The study of structures in the zone of thermal influence formed by the use of various welding processes is an important component of modern technological processes. During the training, the student will get acquainted with modern equipment for studying the structure and properties of a welded joint, study advanced welding equipment and try out new welding materials in practice.

Learning outcomes

  • Calculation and design of machine-building structures, technological equipment and tooling using digital technologies;
  • manufacture and restoration of machine parts and various structures using modern structural materials;
  • calculation and design of machine-building structures, technological equipment and tooling using digital technologies;
  • development, organization and control of technological processes of welding, surfacing, additive technologies using modern materials, equipment and welding robotic complexes.
  • development, research and implementation of new materials for welding and surfacing
