About the program
The desire to achieve a new heyday of architecture aesthetics is the main field of activity of an architect working on the formation of an artificial habitat, including design, engineering, scientific and artistic activities, the objects of which are buildings, their complexes, urban planning fragments of cities that satisfy the utilitarian and spiritual needs of a person.The architecture model is dual in nature. First, the architect develops spatial structures - lattices. The plan and facade of the house are spatial gratings of varying degrees of complexity. The street network and the organization of neighborhoods in cities are also varieties of planning grids. Secondly, social factors influence the shaping of the lattices. These include functional, environmental, aesthetic requirements. The lattices of the architectural space are also formed under the influence of engineering construction technologies.

- Knowledge of the methodology of architectural design and is able to design the architecture of buildings, complexes of buildings, planning and development of urban and rural settlements
- Knowledge of the basics of landscape architecture
- Knowledge of the basics of computer design. Works in programs Graphisoft Archicad, Autodesk 3DS MAX, Autodesk Autocad, Autodesk Revit, Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of the basics of theory and history of architecture
Career opportunities
A graduate can work as an architect in a design workshop, can become a leader of a group of designers, work in the architecture department of a city administration, can work as a consultant in a construction company, can work in territorial design institutes (Irkutskgrazhdanproekt, Irkutsk hyprodorNII, in Irkutskpromstroyproekt), or go to work in another city in similar organizations. A graduate can open his own small business.
