Diplomas Awarded to 441 Graduates of INRTU’s Geological Prospecting Technical School
441 students graduated fr om INRTU’s Geological Prospecting Technical School, including 100 honors graduates. The graduation ceremony took place on July 6 in the university assembly hall.
INRTU Rector Mikhail Korniakov congratulated the graduates, describing the diploma as the starting point of their professional journey.
“Today is an important day. As a graduate of a mining technical school myself, I know that our Geological Prospecting Technical School prepares dedicated specialists who are highly valued by employers.
Many companies are ready to offer you career opportunities, and we encourage you to continue your education through INRTU’s Bachelor’s degree and specialist programs.
Do not forget your teachers and mentors who supported you throughout your studies. INRTU will always remain open to you”.
A highlight of the celebration was Mikhail Korniakov’s performance of the song A Man in Love with Polytech, dedicated to the graduates.
Natalia Pelmeneva, Dean of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education, encouraged graduates to continue their studies at the university level.
“Many of you will build careers in your chosen field. Keep learning, value the people who supported you, and apply these lessons throughout your life. I wish you happiness and success”.
Mikhail Porotnikov, General Director of Vostochnaya Burovaya Kompaniya LLC, encouraged graduates to embrace new opportunities.
“Do not be afraid to start at the bottom of the career ladder. The key is to find a company wh ere you can grow and develop. I wish you every success”.
Renat Akchurin, Director of the Irkutsk Branch of RN-Burenie LLC, wished graduates success in their professional and personal lives.
Larisa Eliseeva, Head of Personnel Training and Educational Relations at GV Gold JSC, described the diploma as the beginning of a long professional journey.

Natalia Vostrikova, Head of the Admissions Department, spoke about admission opportunities at INRTU. Graduates also received warm wishes from curator Vera Makarova.
Graduates spoke warmly about their time at the technical school. Honors graduate Nikita Mitrenga, who studied Oil and Gas Wells Drilling, said:
“The technical school taught us independence, responsibility, time management, and how to plan for the future”.
Honors graduate Darya Burmistrova, who specialized in Geological Surveying, Prospecting and Exploration of Mineral Deposits, plans to continue her education.
“I want to deepen my knowledge of solid mineral resources. Higher education is very important today, and employers pay close attention to qualifications and academic background”.
Valeria Kozlovskaia, a geophysical technician from a family of surveyors, also plans to continue her studies at INRTU.
“During my studies, I gained practical experience, met many interesting people, and developed valuable professional skills”.
The ceremony concluded with a performance by Nikolai Lipchak, a student of the School of Aircraft Construction, Mechanical Engineering and Transport and a graduate of INRTU’s Usolye-Sibirskoye Branch, who sang about unforgettable student years.
