Degrees Awarded to 224 Graduates of INRTU’s School of High Technologies
224 students graduated from School of High Technologies, including 72 honors graduates. The graduation ceremony took place on July 7 in the university assembly hall.
INRTU Rector Mikhail Korniakov congratulated the graduates, noting that the ceremony marked the successful completion of their studies and the beginning of a new professional chapter.
“Do not forget the mentors who supported you throughout your studies. We are grateful for your ideas, initiatives, and contributions to university life, whether in science, culture, creativity, or sports. Together, we gained valuable knowledge and skills that will help you grow as professionals.
I wish you success in achieving your goals. You carry the title of INRTU graduate with pride, and I am confident you will succeed”.
The celebration concluded with a special performance by Mikhail Korniakov, who dedicated the song A Man in Love with Polytech to the graduates.
Evgenii Antsiferov, Director of the School of High Technologies, encouraged graduates to continue learning and developing their skills.
“Keep learning and growing. Every new skill and every new piece of knowledge brings you closer to professional success.
During your years at the university, you built lasting connections with teachers, mentors, and friends. Value these relationships and support one another.
The foundation you built at INRTU is much more than a diploma – it is the basis for your future. We believe in you”.
Representatives of leading employers, including Polyus Sukhoi Log LLC, Polyus Verninskoye JSC, MTS PJSC, Gazprom Dobycha Irkutsk LLC, Angarsk Petrochemical Company JSC, and several other major companies, congratulated the graduates.
Alexander Malinin, Head of Personnel Development and Training at RUSAL Taishet LLC, highlighted the company’s cooperation with INRTU.
“Two groups of students are currently studying metallurgy and automation at our Practical Training Center, gaining valuable hands-on experience. We are grateful to INRTU and Rector Mikhail Korniakov for supporting the launch of the center”.
Yulia Marunova, HR Director of Usolmash LLC, invited graduates to join the company’s new foundry, scheduled to open in 2026.
Nikolay Kuznetsov, Quality Director of PROMTECH-Irkutsk JSC and an INRTU graduate, shared advice with the graduates.
“Your career will bring opportunities, challenges, and risks. The way of thinking developed at INRTU will help you overcome difficulties and continue moving forward”.
Vyacheslav Glushenkov, General Director of the Angarsk Electrolysis Chemical Complex JSC, emphasized the company’s long-standing partnership with INRTU and highlighted career opportunities in the nuclear sector.
Graduates also shared their future plans. Honors graduate Ilia Chikichev, who studied metallurgy, intends to continue his education through a master’s program at INRTU.
Honors graduate Violetta Zakharova, who completed a degree in innovation management, said the university helped her develop both professional and communication skills.
“I gained an understanding of how businesses operate and learned about trends across industries, from energy to IT.
Innovation combines technology and business, making it a profession of the future”.
Andrey Martsenyuk, an honors master’s student and member of INRTU’s Top 100 Students, plans to continue his academic career through doctoral studies in chemical technology.
