Online Academic Competition “Engineers iPolytech 2026”

INRTU invites you to compete for a full Russian government scholarship (tuition-free + monthly stipend) in one of the following English-taught programs:

15 winners will receive full scholarships covering all tuition fees for Master’s studies and a monthly stipend for the entire study period at INRTU.

  • Bachelor's degree holders 
  • Final year bachelor's students

Each Master’s program has its own subject test. You take it online, one attempt per program.

We assess your academic performance according to the grading system of the country where your degree was issued.

• We check if your undergraduate’s major is directly related to the program you apply for.

Scientific publications (research experience)

Publication on a topic relevant to the program's field:



• Publication in a journal (provide a PDF file of the publication and its DOI) - 10 points


• Publication in an article collection / conference proceedings (provide a PDF file of the publication and the DOI of the publication or the collection) - 5 points.

Motivation letter (Statement of Purpose)

The letter is your personal narrative in English language backed with real life examples.



We evaluate:


• Your professional goals and motivation;


• Your accomplishments in academic, sporting or cultural events;


• Your adaptability to a multicultural environment;


• Initiative and leadership potential;


• Compliance with formal requirements (letter structure, clarity, length, formatting).

Recommendation letter

Recommendation Letter can be written by a teacher, professor, academic advisor, or another contact who knows your academic work well. Must include recommender’s full contact details and signature.


Letters from colleagues, friends, or relatives are not acceptable.



We evaluate:


• ability to successfully complete an academic program in the chosen field of study;


• personal qualities for thriving in a diverse, international environment;


• initiative and leadership potential.


*If the applicant is a final-year bachelor’s or specialist degree student, a transcript of grades from previous years of study is provided.

Total possible score: 100 points.

If you apply for several Master’s programs:

- You must submit separate portfolios — one for each program.

- Each portfolio will be assessed independently.

- You will also need to take a subject test for each program.

How to participate?

Step 1. Register by February 28, 2026


  • Fill out the Registration form . In the Registration Form you can choose up to 3 Master's programs.
  • Upload a face photo (JPEG/PNG, up to 1 MB) in your registration form — it is required for online proctoring subject test.


Step 2. Receive Access to INRTU Online Testing System


After registration, you’ll get an email with a link, login, and password for INRTU Online Testing System.

Step 3. Prepare Your Portfolio


Prepare the following documents for Portfolio:

- International passport;

- Higher education certificate & academic transcript*;

- List of scientific publications;

- Motivation letter (Statement of Purpose);

- Recommendation letter.


If you apply for several programs, you must prepare and upload separate portfolios.

Technical requirements for each documents are described in Online Testing System.


*If you are a final year bachelor’s student and you do not have a final diploma yet please submit the official transcript of grades from all completed years of study.

Step 4. Take the Subject Test(s)


Test period: March 1-10, 2026

For taking the test you will need a web-camera.

You’ll have one attempt per test with a limited time to complete. If you apply for several Master’s programs, you will need to take a subject test for each program.

Step 5. Submit Your Portfolio


Upload portfolio documents to INRTU Online Testing System.

If your documents are not in English or Russian, you must provide translations into Russian.

Poor-quality or unreadable files will not be accepted.


If you apply for several programs, you must prepare and upload separate portfolios.

Step 5. Wait for Results


Winners are selected based on combined score (test + portfolio).

The online awarding ceremony details will be announced later.


Visit the online awarding ceremony (the date and the time will be announced later).

Prizes:

Certificate of a winner (if your competition result is 50 points and higher).
Certificate of a participant (if your competition result is less than 50 points)

Winners will be additionally consulted how to submit documents successfully for the Russian governmental scholarship.

Those who are not nominated for a Russian state scholarship will receive a tuition discount according to the table below:
