The program provides you with the training in:
- development of the scientific foundations of engineering surveys, design, construction, reconstruction and operation of buildings and structures;
- improvement and development of new technologies for the construction, reconstruction, demolition and disposal of buildings and structures;
- development and improvement of test methods and monitoring the technical condition of buildings and structures;
- solving scientific problems, tasks in the corresponding construction sector, having significant socio-economic or economic importance;
- conducting educational and teaching work in educational institutions of higher education.
The training is carried out using high-tech equipment: Instron 5989, Spectrometer, Thermal Imager etc. and modern information technologies: AutoCAD, SCAD Office, LIRA, Revit, etc.
The research work is realized on the basis of FSBEI of HE «Irkutsk National Research Technical University»:
• Research Laboratory of Improvement of Building Processes and Quality Control;
• Research Laboratory of Examination of Building Materials and Constructions.

- Ability to identify problems arising in the design, construction and operation of buildings and structures, determine the purpose and necessity of research and development of scientific engineering solutions;
- ability to formulate the objectives of scientific, experimental and design work, organizational and technological activities necessary to achieve the objectives;
- the skill of using methods and techniques of research work, collect and analyze source materials, organize, if necessary, experimental visual-instrumental and laboratory work and carry out verification of engineering calculations;
- ability to identify problems arising in the design, construction and operation of buildings and structures, determine the purpose and necessity of research and development of scientific engineering solutions;
- the knowledge of forming the final documentation on the results of a set of completed research work with justification of completeness, objectivity, validity of the results of the tasks and advantages in comparison with other variant solutions.
