About the program
Today, the profession of a process engineer is more relevant than ever, and this is not surprising - production is being restored, and where they begin to produce something, a person is immediately needed who knows how to do it, that is, a process engineer is one of the main figures on production. The modern development of mechanical engineering requires specialists in mechanical engineering technology with deep knowledge in the design of technological processes and technological equipment, new forms of organization and management of production, integrated automation of production processes, modern machine tools with numerical control and robotic systems, progressive methods of processing materials, the use of computer technology for research, design and control of technological processes. To ensure the competitiveness of their products, enterprises today need specialists who are engaged in the development of new technologies. To attract such specialists, large funds are allocated and a decent amount of remuneration for their intellectual work is offered.
Learning outcomes
- Ability to develop technological processes for the manufacture of parts based on modern methods, tools and design technologies;
- own computer technologies: Autodesk (AutoCAD, Inventor), Siemens (NX, Tecnomatix, Teamcenter, Simcenter 3D), MSC.Software (Patran);
- practical skills in the development of projects of mechanical engineering products;
- knowledge of the development of draft, technical and working projects of machine-building industries, technical means and systems for their equipment;
- ability to operate modern computer-controlled equipment.

Our graduates work in positions:
- Engineer-Technologist (development of technological processes for manufacturing and assembling products);
- Design Engineer (design of parts, tools, components and mechanisms);
- CNC Engineer (CNC engineers are responsible for the programming, maintaining, repairing and testing of these machines so that they can effectively carry out the functions necessary for a given enterprise. The demand for such engineers (also called technicians or programmers) will become more vital as industries increase their automated processes);
- CAE Engineer (A CAE engineer is an individual that uses computer-aided engineering (CAE) software to test the characteristics of a 3D model, such as the material’s strength, fatigue, and stress limits);
- experts in prototyping.
