INRTU hosts the first exhibition of free contemporary art
INRTU is hosting an exhibition of free contemporary art. The exhibition features over 30 works by Irkutsk and Angara authors, including paintings, graphics, embroidery, calligraphy, works made in the style of graffiti, pop art and mixed media. The exhibition is a joint project of the Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute and Art Premier, a framing studio (Lermontov Shopping Center).

INRTU students from China participated actively in the 6th BRICS International School in Moscow
Students of BS BRICS took part in the 6th BRICS International School. Polytechnic students attended a series of master classes and lectures from leading think tanks in Russia. The event was supported by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was held in Moscow on November 20-25.

Teachers and students of INRTU are invited on December 1 to the opening of exhibitions devoted to Vitaly Smagin and his school
In the Gallery of Siberian Art (23 Karl Marx St.) on December 1 at 16:00 it opens the exhibition "Vitaly Smagin. To the 85th anniversary of the artist". The exhibition on two floors will feature about 70 works of the National Artist of Russia, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Professor Vitaly Georgievich Smagin.

The discussion club "Is it good to be a foreigner at university?" was held at INRTU on November 16 under the program of the festival "Siberia - Territory of Peace and Harmony". The event attracted the interest of the university staff and foreign students.

Siberian School of Geosciences of INRTU - participant of international scientific conference in Serbia
Alexander Parshin and Yuri Davydenko, heads of the Siberian School of Geosciences at INRTU, participated in one of the largest international geological meetings - the Near Surface Geoscience Conference. This year the event was organized in the Serbian capital Belgrade by the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers. Interest in the meeting was expressed by the largest companies and scientific communities associated with the Earth sciences. Experts from all continents came to Belgrade.

IPolytech conference: researcher Dmitry Shadrin spoke about the application of artificial intelligence in technological processes
On November 23, Dmitry Shadrin, a researcher at INRTU, made a report at the plenary session "Priority 2030," which was part of the iPolytech conference. He spoke about the role of artificial intelligence in technological processes and production optimization.
