54 companies presented on the Career Day at INRTU

54 companies showed interest in Career Day at INRTU. Representatives of enterprises participated in the poster session organized by the university Career Center.

Career Day is a traditional project that allows students to decide on the path of professional development. INRTU students attended express presentations, asked questions to company representatives and a speaker of the School of Career Management in a live broadcast.


INRTU Rector Mikhail Korniakov welcomed the participants of the event:

"Students and graduates of Irkutsk Technical University are in demand at enterprises all over the country. The university was included in the rating of the top Russian universities according to HeadHunter in 2022.

We are glad to meet industrial partners and new companies which expressed their interest in young engineers. Spring Career Day is an opportunity for students to meet their future colleagues and choose a place of work and internship."

Artyom Zhuravlev, General Director of MedTechService, noted the high level of event organization. He said that INRTU graduates have been working in the company since 2018. The young specialists received good recommendations from their senior colleagues, so MedTechService intends to cooperate actively with INRTU.


Oleg Vedernikov, a 1992 graduate of the Department of Mineral Deposit Development, is a head of Amurugol. He visited the university in search of prospective employees:

"We came to Irkutsk Technical University in order to assess the material and technical resources of the university, to communicate with young people. The students will be interested to learn about life in the Amur Region, vacancies at the coal mining enterprise and working conditions."

Kristina Minasova, senior specialist of the design department at Alabuga Development, said that the company is located in the Republic of Tatarstan. The organization is ready to hire graduates who study construction, energy and BIM-technologies.


Kristina Minasova added,

"Alabuga Development is a platform for training engineering staff. After passing additional courses, students and graduates can take leadership positions. Young ambitious specialists can become project managers at the age of 25.
The company covers travel expenses and provides rooms in comfortable hostels. Corporate housing is now under construction."

Third-year student Valeria Glotova followed the example of her older relatives and chose the profession of geologist. The student will have her first internship in summer. Valeria was interested in the opportunities offered by ALROSA, so she filled in the application form.

Dilshod Bakhtiyorov, who graduated in 2022u, completed an internship at an organization that services dump trucks and tractors. He is a postgraduate student at School of Aircraft Construction, Mechanical Engineering and Transport. The student is considering jobs at "Polymetal" and "Gazprom Dobycha Irkutsk".
