At all times and everywhere, specialists in food equipment are in demand. In order to implement any technology for the preparation of the food, you need to have special equipment and engineering personnel capable of ensuring the development, manufacture, operation and repair of food production machines and apparatuses. A person becomes professional after the graduation of the master's degree program in the "Food Engineering". During their training, the undergraduates study computer technologies for designing technical equipment of enterprises, modern technologies for restoring and maintaining the operability of food machines, gain skills in performing economic calculations aimed at improving the efficiency of food equipment.
The peculiarity of the master's degree program implemented at INRTU is that it trains highly qualified specialists who can work at all enterprises of the food industry, regardless of the profile of the products fabricated at it. At the same time, during the practices conducted on the basis of modern enterprises, undergraduates have the opportunity to purposefully increase the level of knowledge and skills in a particular direction of product production.

The main task of the master's degree program of IRNTU "Food Engineering" is to prepare professionals for a successful career in food companies. The acquired knowledge and skills will allow graduates in the future to occupy positions of technical managers at enterprises, such as chief mechanic, chief engineer, technical director. Graduates are also needed in analytical and research fields of activity related to the technical equipment of food production. Currently, the services of technical consulting, researches in the field of modernization and creation of new equipment are largely in demand. Yesterday's undergraduates can be successful at enterprises that are engaged in the development and manufacture of food machines and apparatuses, automated lines.
