The program prepares specialists with legislative, technical and economic knowledge capable develop environmental projects using competencies, concerning sustainable development. Such specialists irreplaceable for modern environmentally oriented enterprises.
The learning process uses a systematic approach to problems of management, conservation and recovery natural and anthropogenic ecosystems, and also applies an interdisciplinary principle that combines engineering, environmental and economic sciences.
The Joint Program will be composed of 2 stages. Stage 1: 1 year at INRTU; Stage 2: 2 years at HIT for the Master’s program; Students, who successfully complete Stage 1 of the program at INRTU, will be recommended for admission to HIT for Stage 2 of the program. Upon acceptance into the HIT program and successful completion of Stage 2, students will be awarded a HIT Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.

Graduates of this profile are trained for technical, technical, expert and monitoring, forecasting, project and scientific research activities in the environmental aspects of operation enterprises. Graduates can continue their career as specialists in the field of design of environmental objects and development of environmental measures; laboratories of environmental monitoring; hydrometeorological services; economic subdivisions of organizations and enterprises, related to the valuation of natural resources. They can also continue scientific work including in the popular universities of Russia and China.
