INRTU Vice-Rector Stepan Bykov spoke about double degree programs at the forum in Baotou (China)

The Vice-Rector for International Affairs of INRTU Stepan Bykov spoke at the Week of Cooperation in the Educational Field. The forum, organized by Beijing Jiaotong University, was held in Baotou (Inner Mongolia).

According to Stepan Bykov, the meeting focused on the international cooperation for training talented personnel. Universities intend to achieve high results by developing joint educational tracks. Stepan Bykov told about the experience of INRTU in carrying out double degree programs.

"INRTU together with the Belarus State Economic University teaches masters in economic and law regulation of international business. In addition, INRTU cooperates with the Mongolian University of Science and Technology and 1C-Forus. Together we teach personnel for the Mongolian IT industry.

Studying at two universities at the same time, students increase their competitiveness in the labor market, practice foreign languages. Studying in centers that are considered leaders in a particular professional field is a great motivator for the students" Stepan Bykov emphasized.

At the forum, the vice-rector signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Baotou Railway Vocational and Technical College.

Stepan Bykov also negotiated with the management of the Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology.

University delegations visited the Baotou Urbanism and Planning Center. This is a platform showing the state and prospects of agglomeration development. In addition, the conference participants visited the solar panels producing factory.
