Admission office employees from INRTU participated in EduGate education exhibition in Egypt

It should be noted that EduGate is one of the largest career guidance events in the Middle East and North Africa. This is the third time INRTU has taken part in this exhibition. Previously, INRTU participated in EduGate in March 2021 and August 2021.

This year the exhibition brought together representatives of over 50 universities in Egypt, Canada, the UK, Korea and Russia. AGES and Studylandrus, official representatives of leading universities in the Russian Federation, showed an interest in the event. More than 5 thousand school students and parents attended the exhibition.

Employees of INRTU advised over 300 people on enrolment and education issues.

Anna Melenteva, Acting Head of International Affairs Department, shared her impression about the exhibition: "This is the third time we have participated in EDUGATE and every time we see great demand for Russian higher education. We advertised INRTU programs to 10th and 11th class students as well as high school graduates. So we have built up a solid contact database, with whom we will keep in touch during the upcoming year.

Many applicants were very interested in applying to our university. Our main advantage is the cost of tuition, as tuition fees at other European and Arabic universities are more than $10,000 per year. Egyptian students were the most interested in our Bachelor’s programs in English language. Also we got many inquiries on studying Russian language at the Baikal School of BRICS."

"By the end of admission campaign we will see how many students decide to enroll to our university. Meanwhile, there is a feeling that many secondary school students are serious about their intension to study in Russia and consider INRTU as a top priority", commented Darya Zandraeva, an employee of the International Admission office.
