The INRTU team "Lagrange Theorem" participated in the TASS press conference on the results of the International CASE-IN Championship

The INRTU team "Lagrange's theorem" participated in the TASS press conference on the results of the 10th International CASE-IN Engineering Championship. An online webcast was held on June 10 at the TASS Press Centre.

As previously reported, students of the school of Subsurface Resource Management Evgeny Rudykh, Viktor Kovrignyh, Mikhail Semykin and Sergey Kobylinsky were the leaders of the championship in the field of oil and gas engineering. Polytechnic students successfully solved the case of PJSC Yakutsk Fuel and Energy Company. The final of the intellectual tournament took place in Moscow on 25-27 May.

Alexey Agafonov, First Deputy Director General of "Russia - Land of Opportunity", and Artem Korolev, founder of CASE-IN championship, took part in the press conference. Representatives of PJSC Yakutsk Fuel and Energy Company and JSC Gazstroyprom, winners of the School and Student League jubilee season as well as the Young Professionals League joined the meeting online.

"This is the fourth time we participate in the tournament, improving our results every year. In the previous championship we managed to win the third place, and now we are the winners.

There were many strong competitors in the oil and gas engineering field. We proposed a technology for producing ammonia from natural gas and a method for using the carbon dioxide released in the process. A promising solution was the creation of a gas chemical cluster for the production of ammonia, methanol, urea and bioprotein," said Yevgeny Rudykh.

Then the floor was given to Grigory Plaksin, a pupil of the Kemerovo Lyceum. Employees of Sibur-Kstovo spoke on behalf of the Young Professionals League.
