Rossotrudnichestvo office starts Scholarship selection campaign for 2023/2024 academic year

Registration for the information system portal education-in-russia.com opens December 23, 2022 and ends February 20, 2023.

The selection is available to foreign citizens and stateless persons, including compatriots living abroad.

As for admission of citizens of the Russian Federation with the citizenship of a foreign country, we inform that these candidates must not have permanent registration on the territory of the Russian Federation. If there is a document of deregistration, the date of the said document must be no later than September 1, 2022.

To participate in the qualifying examination, candidates must:

- register online;

- Complete questionnaire, fill in application form (it is obligatory to specify 6 Russian educational institutions in the application form), upload photo, scan of passport, scan of education document (or certificate of education period) with notarized translation into Russian. It is also necessary to upload a copy of the medical certificate containing a comprehensive assessment of the candidate's health, as well as copies of medical certificates confirming the absence of hepatitis B, C, tuberculosis and a copy of the certificate of absence of HIV infection with translation (without notarial certification).

Together with this necessary document is the Consent of the candidate to the processing, transfer and storage of personal data. This file (the file is available to download in the system during registration) must be in the form of a separate document in Russian and (or) English and signed by the candidate.

Candidates who have chosen the education level of postgraduate must submit a list of published scientific papers and/or an essay (motivation letter) indicating: (education, university, faculty, major or field, educational and scientific information describing educational and scientific experience, achievements in scientific competitions, participation in scientific conferences, publication of scientific articles, interest in studying on the chosen educational program, prospects for application of the acquired knowledge in the future)

The completed questionnaire must be placed in the "For review" status within the established time frame. Applications in the "Draft" status will not be considered.

Candidates have the right to submit information about their individual achievements, the results of which are considered in the selection process by awarding points.

The following individual achievements are taken into account for graduate and postgraduate programs applicants: availability of a letter of submission from the university indicated in the candidate's application first. The letter must be signed by the rector or vice-rector of the university; participation in scientific and educational conferences and symposiums; scientific publications with bibliographic data, a document on the previous education "with honors"; participation in social projects (such as volunteering, etc.); availability of sports achievements; availability of creative achievements.
