INRTU invites to the Students' Day: winter fun in the "Taltsy" museum and "Pelmen Day"

INRTU students will celebrate Russian Students' Day in the "Taltsy" Museum of Architecture and Ethnography on January 24. Youth Policy Department of INRTU will organize winter activities and raffle of valuable prizes for the students.

The event will start with a sports warm-up, which will help participants to get warm and tune in to the festive program. Staff of the Catering will make hot sbiten* and bake delicious pies for all comers.

Students are invited to spend time in the fresh air, competing in a ski race, stilts, tug-of-war and other outdoor activities. An ice skating rink is open on the museum grounds, but skates are to be arranged on your own.

The deputy head of the Youth Policy Department Ivan Mankov noted that this year's competitions will include team events in addition to individual performance: 

"Celebration of Russian Students' Day in "Taltsy" is becoming a traditional event for INRTU. The museum is located in a picturesque place where visitors enjoy the nature, resting from the city bustle. International students learn about the rich culture of the various nationalities of the Irkutsk region.

The event will be rounded off with a lottery. Partners of the project are Sberbank, En+, VTB Bank - have prepared valuable prizes for students, including portable speakers and chargers.

In addition, gift certificates from Topkinskiy Virazh tubing track, Brainiac Quiz, Dandy Club (mini-golf club), Show Today entertainment center and Inside sports mafia club will be raffled off.

Free buses will be waiting for INRTU students on January 24th at 10:15 near the building "Zh" (VTB Bank Office).

It is compulsory to have two tickets. The first ticket is a pass to the event, which gives an opportunity to win prizes in the lottery.

Students who have a Pushkin card purchase a pass to the "Taltsy" museum on their own at the link. The rest can get tickets in Youth Policy Department ( Room A-111).

INRTU students will continue the celebration of the main student holiday on January 25. "Pelmen Day" will be organized in the foyer of the main building. From 10:00 to 12:00 graduates and current students will be making pelmeni*. And on Kony Island will be a mass skating " Everybody get on ice!". There will be interactive activities and a raffle of prizes.
