Requirements to Exchange Students

When planning to study abroad, it is important to start preparations in advance. Here are the key questions students often ask:

  1. Who can study abroad?
  2. What are my chances of studying abroad?
  3. How can I go abroad for studies?

The good news is that all students—whether undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate—can apply for exchange programs. This opportunity is available to both fee-paying and scholarship-funded students.

Eligibility Criteria

Before you choose a Partner-University and an Exchange Program, make sure you meet the following requirements:

  1. If you are a Bachelor’s student, you must have completed at least two semesters by the time of application. If you are a Master’s or a postgraduate student,  you may apply as early as your first semester.
  2. You should have strong academic records (minimum GPA of 4.0 at the time of application) with no academic debts.
  3. You must demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction (e.g., English or Chinese). If the language is not your native tongue, you should provide either an official language certificate or your university's  language testing results.
