The Quantum Student Scientific Society was awarded a diploma of the winner of the national competition of young scientists
The 10th national congress of Young Scientists' Councils which gathered almost 800 participants from 76 regions of Russia completed in Moscow on June 2-4.
The congress was attended by representatives of student scientific societies (SSEs), the finalists of the "Science" specialization in the "Leaders of Russia" competition of managers, young scientists receiving state support. Technical Head of Student Scientific Society "Quantum" Maxim Popov represented Irkutsk Polytechnic University.
The congress was organised by the Coordination Council for Youth Affairs in Science and Education supported by the Ministry of Education and Science, National Research Technical University "MISIS", Russian Science Foundation and Science-ID platform.
According to the press service of NUST MISIS, the aim of the congress was to involve the communities of young scientists in solving the most important tasks of the country's development. The programme of the event was devoted to discussion of topical issues facing Russian science.
Among the winners is INRTU's "Quantum". Associate Professor Roman Kononenko is the scientific supervisor of the Quantum Student Scientific Society. Specialists and bachelors, engineers and technicians implement their potential and share their accumulated experience in various spheres of activity on the basis of SSS. Quantum members develop their professional competences and implement their projects using modern CNC machines. The main areas are electronics, robotics, internet of things, programming and 3D modelling.
