The International Open Doors Day was held at INRTU today

On April 1 we had the International Open House Day, almost 100 foreign students participated in this event today. The participants had the opportunity to know more about the University’s programs, partners, the process of admission, migration issues. We decided to hold this event as the preparatory department students had many questions about the university, the educational programs and the opportunities for further education in Russia.

The manager of the admission office Daria Zandraeva was in charge of the event: "Today we had an event dedicated to informing students about our university, educational programmes and the Irkutsk region. At the beginning we held a presentation where we told about our region, Lake Baikal, schools, the leisure activities our students can engage in. We also held a quiz game and tested students' knowledge about the university, Russian culture, history, Baikal and much more. Afterwards, the students were shown various teaching laboratories and classrooms where students can do their future research work".

At the moment 150 international students from 26 countries study at the foundation course. The preparatory Russian program at INRTU is considered one of the most popular in Russia, and the admission office recruits students all year round.
