The Final of the Irkutsk Region Bandy Championship

On April 2, the Baikal Ice Palace in Irkutsk will host the final matches of the Irkutsk Region Bandy Championship:

— 10:30am the match for the third place between the teams Youth-region and Yanta;

— 13:00am the Final where the teams of INRTU and Baikal-Energy Veterans will be competing.

The Irkutsk Polytechnic team was organised in September 2020 on the basis of INRTU. The university management has created all the necessary conditions for an effective training process. Maxim Blem, a well-known ball hockey player, became a team’s coach.

The athletes started to demonstrate their success in a series of friendly games. During its existence, the team has shown serious success. In 2021 the Irkutsk Polytechnic team took the silver medal at the Priangarie Governor’s Cup, won the bronze medal at the regional championship, won the Cup in Ust-Ilimsk, and played friendly games in several Russian cities.
