Students of the preparatory department of INRTU learning about the world of artistic ceramics at the «Two Shores» exhibition.
On March 14, the Gallery of Siberian Art hosted the opening of the exhibition «Two Shores» dedicated to the anniversaries of two outstanding Irkutsk artists – Lyudmila Nazarova and Andrei Polyanitsa. Among the visitors of the exhibition were students of the preparatory department planning to further study at the School of Power Engineering of INRTU with the support of EN+.
More than 70 works of ceramic art presented at the exhibition reveal the versatility of the authors' talent. Lyudmila Nazarova, one of the leading masters of arts and crafts in Irkutsk, presented works filled with philosophical symbolism. Her work, inspired by nature and life cycles, is harmoniously combined with bright and expressive compositions by Andrei Polyanitsa. The artist, known for his cheerful worldview, surprises viewers with humorous images and apt observations of everyday life.
The students, despite the language barrier, listened to the guide with interest, tried to ask questions and scrutinized the exhibits. They were especially delighted by the combined wood and ceramic products, vases, animal figurines, as well as individual works such as «March Cats», «Koza-Dereza», «Bereginya» and «Yurik the Melomaniac». Students shared their impressions, photographed their favorite objects and discussed the meaning of the presented works.
The students also noted that such events help them not only to improve their language skills, but also to gain a deeper understanding of Russian culture. Leaving the gallery, they unanimously decided that such exhibitions are an integral part of their path to knowledge and expressed their desire to visit future expositions.
