According to the Governor,

"It is pleasant to see that concerned residents of the Irkutsk region develop their skills and participate in the creation of a community of the best leaders. Leaders of Russia is an open competition for the new generation of leaders, which gives an opportunity to receive a grant for the development of their projects and to join the community of the best managers of the country.

They competed in management decisions and passed computer tests. The candidates solved a case «Support measures for attraction of young people to rural areas of the Irkutsk region" at the regional stage of the competition.

The participants worked in four teams. They analyzed the problems and their causes, discussed the implemented measures and made proposals for the support of the youth in rural areas.
