Over 100 people took part in a training session with INRTU Rector Mikhail Kornyakov
A training session with INRTU Rector Mikhail Kornyakov was organized by the staff of the Department of Youth Policy. The sporting event, which took place at the stadium on May 25, engaged more than 100 Irkutsk residents
Students and staff of the university, students of Irkutsk Hydrometeorological College and the regional College of Pedagogical Education participated in the traditional polytechnic event. Residents of the Student town and students of the Irkutsk State University lyceum also joined the sport event. The sporting event was opened with the performance of the IRNITU cheerleading team.
According to organizer Ivan Mankov, the university has a great capacity for large-scale actions:
"We decided to organize the event at the stadium, which offers a beautiful view of the city. The sunny weather was an added bonus. We invited not only Polytechnic students, but everyone else as well. It's a great way to introduce our university to Irkutsk residents."
Hockey players from Irkutsk Polytechnic along with coach Maxim Blem also came to the stadium. For the third time Sergey Shevtsov, a midfielder from the Institute of Architecture, Construction and Design, took part in the sporting event.
"Training with the rector is a good reason to improve your physical form. During the intensive, I liked stretching exercises, I plan to include them in my gym complex," Sergey shared his impressions.It should be noted that before the start of the event, all the participants received bracelets with unique numbers. The action ended with a drawing of gifts from Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute.
Veronika Nikiforova, a student of INRTU, became the owner of the main prize - a gift box from the rector, which includes a water bottle, "right" treats and souvenirs with the university logo.
