Exactly a month ago, the Preparatory Department of the Irkutsk National Research Technical University opened its doors to a new intake of students

Foreign students came from all over the world to begin studying the Russian language and, of course, get acquainted with the culture of Russia.

 During this month of studying, our students have already taken their first steps towards mastering the language. They learned the alphabet, basic grammar and learned a few useful words. Preparatory department teachers create a friendly and supportive atmosphere in groups, which allows each student to feel comfortable and confident in the learning process. Of course, it is impossible to learn the language completely in a month, but under the guidance of the teaching staff of the preparatory department, the students will continue to study diligently.

 However, studying at university is not only about classroom activities! Over the past October, students managed to make friends and create a real international family. They communicate, spend time together, share their traditions and tell stories from their native places. To help the students adapt, a number of events are being prepared dedicated to the traditions of Russia, as well as the celebration of the New Year.

 One of the most exciting events of the month was a trip to Taltsy. The open-air museum is located just an hour's drive from Irkutsk and offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of traditional Siberian life, admire ancient wooden buildings and take part in master classes. This trip not only strengthened their friendship, but also gave many new impressions.

 We are proud to offer our students not only a quality education, but also a rich cultural experience. And this is just the beginning of their journey!
