INRTU students welcomed spring with the Maslenitsa festivities. On March 3, State Governmental deputy Sergey Ten and rector of INRTU Mikhail Kornyakov baked pancakes and treated students and staff of the university. The event was accompanied by the performances of creative troupes, a culinary exhibition and folk entertainment.

participants of the event were interested in the culinary exhibition. The administration and students who live at the Campus prepared the festive tables with some assorted treats. Chefss treated visitors with the pancakes of unusual shapes with different topping, ruddy pies and fritters.

Guests were able to have fun playing the Russian winter sports and activities. Polytechnic students competed in jumping in the sacks, tug-of-war, throwing a valen, etc.

Sergey Ten said warm words to all participants: "There are countries where summer is all year round. Siberians are lucky, because we can enjoy the advantages of different seasons, engage in winter sports, admire the beauty of winter, and wait for the warm spring days. I wish you to be happy!”
