IV International History School — 2022
On September 13–18, 2022, the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and the Russian Historical Society, together with the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, Rossotrudnichestvo will hold the IV International History School for Russian and foreign students in Yekaterinburg.
This is a great chance for students to expand their knowledge of Russian history and culture, meet well-known researchers, heads of academic institutions, leading universities, major archives and museums; receive support in implementing your own historical and educational initiatives.
The school program includes 5 thematic tracks, each of them includes an intensive educational program in Russian, round tables and a project competition as well as a project competitio
- History of Russian Economy and Industry;
- History of Russian Literature;
- History of Ancient Russia and the Moscow Kingdom;
- History of the Great Patriotic War;
- History of the Russian Empire.
School location: Russia, Sverdlovsk region, Yekaterinburg.
Dates: September 13–18, 2022.
Deadline for application: August 8, 2022.
The organizers fully cover the participants' expenses for:
- Travel;
- Accommodation;
- Meals.
Eligibility:
- Foreign young scientists who study History of Russia (30 places):
The selection of participants in this category is carried out by Rossotrudnichestvo within the framework of the «New Generation» Program.
- Foreign students and postgraduates who study in Russian universities (70 places):
Participants must fill in an application form and attach a motivation letter to it (in a free format in Russian). It should contain brief information about a school participant, his/her educational and scientific interests and career plans. (Letter volume: no more 2000 symbols).
- Russian students and postgraduates (50 places):
Participants must fill in an application form and attach a motivation letter to it (in a free format in English). It should contain brief information about a school participant, his/her educational and scientific interests and career plans. (Letter Volume: no more 2000 symbols).
