Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology is an international company founded in 1892 in Sandviken, Sweden. This high-tech engineering group manufactures tools, systems, equipment and services for the mining and construction industries. Sandvik has around 43,000 employees in more than 150 countries.

INRTU students completed internship in the Russian branches of Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology last summer. A long-term agreement on INRTU student internships at Sandvik facilities was concluded in 2020. Thanks to the agreement, four INRTU students have been offered internships at Sandvik Mining & Construction CIS's service branches in Kemerovo and Krasnoyarsk Regions.
