The All-Russian festival was held fr om May 23 to 27 on the federal territory “Sirius”, bringing together almost two thousand participants from 18 countries. The program included panel discussions, educational lectures, workshops, and tournaments in 10 different sports.

In the football competitions, student Anna Mikhaleva took first place as part of a mixed team. INRTU students Ilya Chernukha and Evgeny Snegiryov became silver medalists.
According to former head of the INRTU Sports Club, Ilya Chernukha, the tournament was held in a 6x6 format:

“Evgeny and I played together with students from other universities. Despite the strong competition, we managed to show a good game.
Taking part in ‘ASSK.Fest’ is a great opportunity to meet other sports activists, learn new practices in sports management, and much more.”
One of the key moments of the event was the award ceremony for the winners of ASSK’s flagship projects. The INRTU cheerleading team took second place in the “Support Group” category of the “University Fans” project.
Coach Ekaterina Kopteva explained that the finals were preceded by a remote selection stage:

“Our team became the leader of the qualifying round, beating 27 other teams. Only eight groups were invited to Sochi.
In the final, we performed in a cheer-performance format, presenting a team introduction and several dance routines. I’m proud of the girls’ results. Now we are making big plans for the next academic year and aiming for victory.”
Urban planning student Anastasia Alimasova shared her impressions of the festival:

“I’ve been doing cheerleading for four years. This was the first time we performed at an all-Russian level festival and received high praise. It was very encouraging and motivating.
The festival format gave us a chance not only to show our skills and physical training, but also to take part in a patriotic quest wh ere we could demonstrate other abilities.”
It’s worth noting that INRTU student and photographer Anna Platonova made a significant contribution to the media coverage of “ASSK.Fest”. She took more than 2,000 photos, many of which were published in the official group of ASSK Russia. In addition, several female athletes from INRTU passed the GTO standards and received gold and bronze badges.
