INRTU student Ksenia Zabegalovskaya studied environmental issues at the forum in Kaliningrad

Kseniya Zabegalovskaya, a senior student at the School of Economics, Management and Law, studied environmental issues at the national Forum «Sustainability». The event was held in Kaliningrad on October, 6-9.

Initiators of this educational marathon were the Association of Youth Governments of Russia and the government of the Kaliningrad region. The Forum united over 100 people from 28 regions of Russia.

Kseniya Zabegalovskaya studies at the faculty of journalism at INRTU. She is the head of the media center «Our Irkutsk» and the Minister of Housing Policy and Energy in the youth government of the Irkutsk region.

According to Kseniya, the «Sustainability» program included educational and practice-oriented intensives. She attended lectures, master classes, and a discussion platform with representatives of the departments of ecology of the Kaliningrad region and Kamchatka Territory.

«I was interested in the speech of Ekaterina Emets, advisor to the governor of Kamchatka Territory. She promotes the ideas of «green policy». I also joined to the national environmental action «Not in word, but in deed» to improve the city», - shared her impressions Kseniya Zabegalovskaya.

She got acquainted with the work of ANO «Russia is a Country of Opportunities» presented by Kirill Antonov, the head of the direction of regional cooperation. Kseniya is going to take part in the «Ecosofia» project to present her vision of ecological culture in the modern society.
