"We highly appreciate the results of the work carried out and the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Centre for Project Development of New Industrial Technologies under the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Irkutsk National Research Technical University of the Russian Federation.

Within the framework of implementation of the accelerated industrialization of the country, the Republic of Tajikistan attaches great importance to improvement of human resources potential in the country. Given the significant potential of INRTU, we are extremely interested in training personnel in all areas of industry."

Vice-rector for international activities Stepan Bykov said that this year about 40 applicants from Tajikistan have applied for admission to INRTU. The Ministry of Industry and New Technologies sent six applicants.

We held talks with the Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies, who expressed a sincere interest in developing cooperation, focusing on training for the mining industry," Stepan Bykov said.

The rector also considers it important to use a tool such as targeted training of students, when an enterprise chooses a promising sophomore and concludes a contract with him or her.
