INRTU’s School of High Technologies Graduates 238 Engineering & Science Specialists
The School of High Technologies at INRTU celebrated 238 new bachelor’s and master’s graduates on July 3, with 95 earning honors diplomas. Employers attended the ceremony in the university’s auditorium, engaging with graduates poised to enter high-tech industries.
The graduation ceremony was opened by INRTU Rector Mikhail Korniakov, who performed the song “A Man in Love with Polytech” for the guests.

‘Throughout these years, we’ve stood together – in academics, sports, creativity, and research. The university isn’t bidding you farewell and will always support you. We await our graduates in INRTU’s master’s and postgraduate programs.
Never forget your professors who championed your journey and celebrated your achievements. I’m certain that in a few years, you’ll return as employers to guide the next generation of graduates,’ said Mikhail Korniakov at the ceremony.
Representatives fr om 11 employer companies came to congratulate graduates on their milestone. Elena Nikitina, Director of Personnel Management at JSC Pharmasyntez, addressed the cohort:
‘We’ve long partnered with INRTU – over 250 INRTU graduates and students work at our enterprise and complete internships with us annually. To this year’s graduates: Choose your professional path wisely and believe in your strengths. Our company will gladly welcome talented specialists in chemical technology and help them become true professionals’.
Graduates were also congratulated and invited to apply for positions by leaders of key Irkutsk region companies: Olga Sudom, Head of Personnel and Administrative Support at PJSC Polyus; Nikolay Kozlov, Acting Deputy Director General for Development at «Rosatom» State Corporation; Nadezhda Belorusova, Head of Personnel Assessment and Development at JSC Angarsk Petrochemical Company (ANKhK); Andrey Kuprin, Director of Personnel and Social Policy at JSC Sayanskhimplast; Sergey Shamanaev, Deputy Head of the Specialized Trust "Almazavtomatika" of ALROSA company; Roman Kopylov, Head of Engineering and Technical Service at the East Siberia Macroregion Branch (Sibintek LLC).
Bulat Gilmutdinov, Head of the Department of Oilfield Chemistry and Quality Control of Hydrocarbon Raw Materials at Irkutsk Oil Company (INK), highlighted INRTU graduates' exceptional training:
‘You hold diplomas from INRTU – one of Russia’s premier technical universities. Several students completed pre-employment adaptation programs from INK, significantly boosting your competitiveness. We look forward to welcoming graduates at our production facilities’.
Konstantin Zimin, Director of the PJSC MTS branch in Irkutsk Region, and Igor Sychev, Technical Director of the PJSC Rostelecom, offered warm congratulations to the graduates.
A deputy chief engineer of JSC Usolye-Sibirsky Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant joined the commendations, highlighting the plant’s dynamic growth:
‘We produce over 200 pharmaceutical drugs and have launched seven new production units over the past five years. This significantly expands our capabilities and elevates product quality. As the plant evolves, so does Usolye-Sibirskoye – making careers here even more appealing’.
Diplomas were presented to graduates by Rector Mikhail Korniakov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Vladimir Smirnov, and Director of School of High Technologies Evgeny Antsiferov.
During the ceremony, many students received commemorative gifts from employer companies. Separate diploma ceremonies were held for graduates of the Corporate and Training Center by ALROSA and students completing programs at INRTU’s Digital Department.
Inna Purevdorj earned an honors diploma in the inaugural cohort of the Industrial Biotechnology program. She received a recommendation letter from the Trade union students club for her community engagement and published research articles in ecology and pharmaceuticals.

‘I graduated from INRTU in a high-demand field. Biotechnology is rapidly growing in Russia, with specialists needed in food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. I completed my pre-diploma internship at pharmaceutical company “Renewal” (Novosibirsk) wh ere I plan to work. My four years at INRTU meant active Student Union involvement, fascinating lectures, and supportive classmates.’
Danil Molokov (automation engineer, sponsored student of Gazprom Dobycha Irkutsk LLC) highlighted his versatile education:

‘INRTU partners with major companies. From second year onward, employers invited us for internships. Enrolling here guarantees employment.’

Metallurgist Mikhail Vasilyev – winner of university and national research competitions – will apply for a master's degree at INRTU. His research focuses on superconductors and specialized materials for nuclear energy. Vasilyev credits his success to Nikolai Konovalov (Head of the Department of Physics) and Nina Nemchinova (Head of the Department of Metallurgy of Non-Ferrous Metals).
