INRTU – Participant of the VIII Baikal International ART-Festival “Vivat, Talent!”
The VIII Baikal International ART-Festival “Vivat, Talent!” takes place in Irkutsk on February 12-16. Contestants demonstrate their skills in instrumental and vocal performance, theater art, public speaking and media. INRTU traditionally serves as a venue for choreographic shows. The festival is organized by the Irkutsk Regional College of Culture with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture of the Angara Region.
“Vivat, Talent!” in 2025 brought together more than 11 thousand people. These are solo performers and groups from Russia and Mongolia, who perform in person and online formats.
According to Tatiana Dashko, Director of the Center for Cultural, Mass and Educational Work of INRTU is a regular participant of the “Vivat, Talent!” festival.

“We are hosting the largest nomination – choreography. More than 500 numbers from Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Vologda, Buryatia, Trans-Baikal and Krasnoyarsk regions are announced in 2025. INRTU is represented by the tap dance club “Chechotka”, ballroom dance club "Akademik" and folk club of modern choreography "Shagi". We are looking forward to successful results from the dance groups, as well as from all INRTU associations participating in the festival.
In addition to the competition program, students are always interested in master classes. By receiving evaluations from the professional jury and adopting the experience of the best masters, the guys grow and develop their creativity. We are glad that Irkutsk hosts such a wonderful festival as “Vivat, Talent!”, noted Tatiana Dashko.
The festival's experts are teachers of leading universities and cultural workers. The chairman in the nomination “Choreography” is Evgeny Kuznetsov, Associate Professor of the Folk Dance Department of the Moscow State Institute of Culture. The choreographer of the Omsk State Children's Ensemble Svetlana Ponomareva, teacher on jazz and rhythm-plasticity of Boris Eifman Dance Academy Marina Lugovkina (St. Petersburg) also take part in evaluation of the numbers.
“Sing, Friend!” and "Kalina" presented their vocal numbers. As part of the jury, the performances of the INRTU students will be evaluated by Olga Andronova, associate professor of the choral conducting department of the D. Hvorostovsky Siberian State Institute of Arts, Lilia Kayanidi, teacher-consultant of vocal show projects, Tatyana Bushuikina, choirmaster of the ensemble “Russians” of the theater “Russian Song”, and others.
The gala concert of the festival “Vivat, Talent!” with awarding of winners will be held on February 16 in the concert hall of INRTU.
