INRTU Entered the Top 50 of the Interfax National University Ranking
Interfax Information Group published the results of the annual research “National University Ranking”. INRTU entered the top 50 of this rating, sharing 47-48 positions with Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev (KAI).
Interfax traditionally evaluated 378 Russian universities in six parameters: education, research, social environment, cooperation, innovation/entrepreneurship and brand.
INRTU has proven itself particularly good as an organizer of social environment, taking 29-30 places by this parameter. In terms of cooperation the university is on the 46th place of the rating, in research on the 51st place, in education it occupies 132-135 positions. The work on brand promotion provided the university with 49th place.
Six universities of the Angara Region were included in the National Rating. Irkutsk State University is in 52nd place.
The leaders of the rating are Lomonosov Moscow State University, National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
It should be noted that the objectives of the annual research “National University Ranking” conducted by Interfax are: to assess the performance of a modern Russian university that meets international standards; to develop a channel of communication between the country's academic community, mass audiences and business; to search for new methods and technologies to assess the performance of institutions in the field of education, research and development, innovation and social and humanitarian development.
