From December 9 to 13, 2024 INRTU delegation participated in the conference of the Alliance of Chinese and Russian Universities of Language Education

INRTU was represented by A.A. Kontrimovich, Director of the Center for International Services, A.B. Antonova, Department of Russian Language Linguo-Didactics , I.V. Sharavyeva, Director of the Department of Humanities, and E.A. Loktionova, Deputy Director of Baikal School of BRICS.

The purpose of the Alliance of China-Russian Language Education Universities is to build a platform for China-Russian cooperation in language education, exchanging and sharing resources, training high-level professionals, deepening language education and humanitarian exchanges and cooperation, promoting cooperation between China and Russia and strengthening friendship between the two peoples. The opening ceremony was held on May 18, 2024 in Harbin.

The Alliance of Chinese-Russian Universities of Language Education was established on the initiative of Heilongjiang University (PRC) and Moscow State Linguistic University (RF). The Alliance includes 23 universities of Russia and 38 universities of China. Within the framework of cooperation it is planned to organize joint conferences, summer schools for cultural exchanges, festivals, exchange students and teachers, invite researchers from the Alliance universities, compile and publish bilingual books.

The Alliance members are such universities as Siberian Federal University, G.R. Derzhavin Tambov State University, Irkutsk State University, Northeast Pedagogical University (PRC), Harbin Pedagogical University (PRC), Harbin Engineering University (PRC) and others. The conference was held on the basis of Heilongjiang University in Harbin. In their reports IRNITU representatives told about RCT support projects, Chinese language program and English language programs implemented on the basis of Baikal School of BRICS.
