Five INRTU Staff Members Received Certificates of Appreciation From the Russian Ministry of Education and Science
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education highly appreciated INRTU staff's work and achievements. Acknowledgements and certificates signed by Denis Sekirinsky, Deputy Minister, were awarded to five INRTU employees. University Rector Mikhail Korniakov presented his colleagues with the awards.
Alexey Govorkov, Head of the School of Information Technologies and Data Analysis, was awarded a diploma of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science for significant services in the field of science and conscientious work.
Acknowledgments for contribution to the education sphere and conscientious labor were awarded to the Department of Materials Science, Welding and Additive Technologies - Associate Professors Igor Ryzhikov, Elena Guseva and Elena Nikolaeva. Natalia Trukhina, a document specialist, was awarded with gratitude for conscientious labor.
Associate Professor Igor Ryzhikov is a 1985 INRTU graduate with a specialty in Operation of Aircraft and Engines. In different periods he worked as an assistant, researcher, senior lecturer, associate professor at the School of Aircraft Engineering and Transportation. Igor Ryzhikov took active part in research work under contracts with aircraft engine building enterprises (JSC "Perm Motors", LNPO named after V.Y. Klimov, CIAM, etc.).
Over the last 24 years Igor Ryzhikov has authored more than 70 scientific publications. Many of his researches are devoted to mechanical engineering, including application of finite element method, modeling of welded joints, study of aircraft engine vibrations. He has also co-authored an article on the use of thermal imaging equipment in the inspection of thermal power facilities.
Igor Ryzhikov teaches students several disciplines, such as Fundamentals of Design, Physical and Mechanical Properties of Materials, Fundamentals of Scientific Research, Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Alexey Govorkov has been working at INRTU for over 20 years. In 2006 he graduated with a degree in Aircraft and Helicopter Engineering. Six years later, he successfully defended his Master's thesis under the guidance of Rashid Akhatov. The research was devoted to the Ensuring manufacturability of engineering product designs using information models.
Alexey Govorkov performed works in the interests of Irkutsk Aircraft Plant, was involved in the development of design technologies, design and technological preparation and manufacturing of MC-21 aircraft.
He is actively engaged in the scientific staff training. In December, Nikodim Podrez defended a candidate's thesis under his supervision. As a result of his mentee's work, he developed a methodology to reduce the cycle schedule of product manufacturing and process design costs. Currently, Alexey Govorkov is a mentor of two graduate students.
Alexey Govorkov has almost 140 published works, 46 of which were prepared over the last five years. At the beginning of this year he entered the doctoral program of Samara State University. The topic of his future dissertation is related to the development of a model of a digital twin of an aircraft manufacturing enterprise.
Alexey Govorkov also proved himself as a talented manager and public figure. He was the Director of Technopark, headed the Department of Scientific Activity of INRTU. Since 2021 he has been in charge of the Institute of Information Technologies and Data Analysis. He is a member of the Association for Engineering Education of Russia (AEER), an expert in the Regional Science Foundation (Krasnoyarsk region).
