About Academy
The Banking Academy of Vietnam (BAV) is a public university governed by the State Bank of Vietnam and the Ministry of Education and Training. The headquater is in Hanoi and two other campuses are located in Bac Ninh and Phu Yen. Having more than 500 qualified lecturers, BAV offers a wide range of programs in various areas including Banking, Finance, Accounting and Auditing, Business Administration, International Business, Management of Information Systems, Foreign Languages, Investment Economics and Business Law.
The annual student intake is around 20,000 enrolling at all levels in vocational training, undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The BAV is also a well-recognized educational institution in research, teaching and knowledge transfer in Banking and Finance, Accounting and Business Administration in Vietnam

Exchange Programs
Banking Academy of Vietnam offers a number of exchange programs and short courses. Varying in lengths and course contents, our programs are made to suit the needs and preference of students.
The BAV undergraduate programs are the most popular choice for students looking to gain an in-depth exchange experience. Here everyone can find a unique curriculum consisting of courses in different majors including Banking and Finance, Accounting, Finance Management and Business Administration, which are taught in English.
Clubs
Joining a student association or clubs is the best way to get to know your fellow students. Sports, politics, business or culture — there is something for everyone. English clubs, music club, academic clubs etc. provide students with an excellent opportunity to mix and thus participate in a cross-cultural learning experience.
Research programs, internships and volunteering experiences: a great way to gain understanding and practical experience in Vietnam.

Eligibility
- Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate degree student and completed at least 1 academic year at the home institution
- Nominated by home institution (International Office room И-205)
- Good academic performance
- English level at IELTS 5/5 or equivalent
- Ready for cultural exchange and immersion

Arrival date: early September 2022
Semester starts: 12 September 2022
Semester ends: 15 January 2023

Accommodation
Various forms of accommodation such as private houses or apartments are available at a reasonal price and easily accessible from campus. The average cost is ₽ 24, 000 per month. The BAV offers support in accommodation search and housing information is provided to students in connection with application process
Living expenses
An amount of ₽ 25,000 should be enough to cover your monthly expenses
Transportation
The Academy can be easily reached by popular means of transport such as bus, motorbike and bicycle. Traveling by motorbike is the most convenient way to go not only to the university but also to many places in Hanoi.
Bike rent is a popular service in Hanoi while bus tickets can be easily bought on the bus. Walking is one of the options, but be advised that you should walk only in fall and winter as it is very hot in the summer.
