Applications Open for the International Scientific School “Chemistry of the Future”

INRTU announces the beginning of the application process for the international scientific school “Chemistry of the Future”, which will take place from October 6 to 10. Students specializing in chemistry and related fields, as well as young scientists under the age of 35, are invited to participate.

The “Chemistry of the Future” international scientific school is a unique platform for students and young scientists to explore cutting-edge trends in the chemical industry, solve relevant industrial challenges, and network with leading experts and companies.

In 2023 and 2024, the event united over 150 students, postgraduate students, and young scientists from Irkutsk, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Tomsk, Donetsk, Belarus, and China. The school featured lectures and plenary sessions with leading scientists and students.

The school’s primary goal is to create a platform for scientific dialogue and knowledge exchange among universities, industry partners, and government agencies. Each year, the event is supported by major companies and educational institutions, including the energy holding company En+ Group, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University), Irkutsk Oil Company (INK), the “ORGKHIM” Biochemical Holding, D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (MUCTR), the National Gas Company, and SIBUR Holding.

The school's program includes lectures and workshops by Russian and international experts, real-case problem-solving from industry partners, and team-based project work.

Terms of Participation: Travel and accommodation are covered by the sending party; meals and an excursion program are provided by the organizers; teams should consist of 4 to 5 people from universities and vocational schools.
