A-Technics (PJSC Aeroflot) invites INRTU students for an internship
Students of the School of Aviation Engineering and Transport are invited to practice with A-Technics company, one of the largest providers of aircraft maintenance in Russia and the CIS (a subsidiary of PJSC Aeroflot). Presentation of the company interested future airplane engineers and aircraft technicians.
Igor Bobarika, Head of the Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance Department, stressed that students have a unique chance to talk to the representatives of the company, which provides maintenance of aircraft Boeing 737, Boeing 747, Boeing 777, Airbus A350, Airbus A320Family and SSJ 100.
According to Andrei Novikov, head of A-Technics recruitment and development, the company has hangar complexes at Sheremetyevo and Orenburg airports and line stations in Belgorod, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov, Sochi, Stavropol and Krasnoyarsk.
Students learned more about the company's activities and career opportunities from the presentation.
A-Technics, realizing the importance of preparing future aviation specialists, actively cooperates with colleges and universities providing support in conducting education and internships for students in its own production facilities. Students have an opportunity to get acquainted with the best practices of aircraft maintenance in real conditions and discuss practical issues with experienced mentors.
Andrei Novikov said that A-Technics actively cooperates with the Moscow Aviation Institute, Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation, N.N. Godovikov Polytechnic College and the Moscow Aviation Institute. N.N. Godovikov Polytechnic College, Rylsk Aviation Technical College.
"Students of Irkutsk Technical University after 3-4 years of study can take industrial and pre-graduation internships at A-Technics in Sheremetyevo Airport. Several airplanes are in the hangar all the time, intensive work is in progress, which allows future aviation technicians to gain valuable real-world experience and understanding of modern aircraft maintenance processes.
Students, mastering airplane building at Irkutsk polytechnic, we invite them for practice in nondestructive control shop - work here is connected with wide fuselages (scratch removal etc.).
After successful completion of practice graduates will have a priority for employment in our company, "- said Andrey Novikov.
Third-year student Vyacheslav Bosholov got interested with the presentation. The future aircraft technician noted that safety in aviation is above all:
"Safety is unthinkable without serviceable equipment. Forms of aircraft maintenance are called "checks". A-Technics staff does not only post-flight and pre-flight checks, but also the most complex checks, when an aircraft is taken out of service and put in the hangar. I want to become a high-level professional, so I plan to send an application to the company about wanting to do an internship this summer. It's cool to get maintenance experience on planes like Boeing or Airbus."
INRTU students asked the company representatives questions about the conditions of the internship. At present polytechnic students wishing to undertake an internship at Sheremetyevo airport will need to pay for the flight to Moscow and take care of their own accommodation.
