A delegation from Hulunbuir University of China visited INRTU

Master's students, postgraduates and staff of Hulunbuir University (Inner Mongolia, Northern China) visited INRTU. The guests were presented the educational programs and language courses of Irkutsk National Research Technical University and had an excursion to the A.V. Sidorov Mineralogical Museum.

Meeting the guests, Anna Melenteva, Head of International Affairs Department, noted that cooperation with China is a priority for INRTU. There are more than 400 students from China at INRTU, among the partner universities are Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, Nanjing University, Hebei North University, Harbin Institute of Technology, China University of Petroleum, Shandong University of Aeronautics and others.

Anna Melenteva invited students and teachers of Hulunbuir University studying Russian language to summer schools, semester internships and professional development courses. The meeting also discussed issues of student exchange.

Nina Berngard, Head of the International Office and, is pleased to renew and strengthen ties with Hulunbuir University in the field of language internships and inclusive education for INRTU students.

Irina Sharavieva, Associate Professor of the Baikal School of BRICS, presented the educational programs, stressing that students study two foreign languages - English and a second language (optional). The lecturer drew the guests' attention to the new Chinese language linguistics programme “Cross-Cultural Communications in Business Environment”, which is popular among the students.
