Maria Zaitseva, a second-year student at INRTU, won a silver medal at the Irkutsk Athletics Memorial All-Russian Competition
Maria Zaitseva, a student of the School of Architecture, Construction and Design of INRTU, won three medals at the Irkutsk Athletics Memorial All-Russian Competition. The tournament, which was timed to coincide with the 85th anniversary of the Angara region, was held at the Irkutsk Polytechnic's stadium on 12-13 August.

Professor of INRTU Alexander Afanasyev presented the project of Russian-Chinese Master's program in Artificial Intelligence
Professor of the School of Information Technologies and Data Analysis Alexander Afanasyev presented the project of the Russian-Chinese master's program"Computer Vision". The Irkutsk scientist presented his proposal at the VII Round Table on Sino-Russian Scientific and Technological Cooperation in the Development and Implementation of High Technology. The report received a great response from colleagues from leading universities in China.

Fairy tales and myths helped students improve their German and English at summer school
The summer language school was held at the Politechnik sports and health camp on 4-9 August. The educational intensive course was organised by Tatiana Gorbunova, Inna Senina and Natalia Kuvshinova, teachers from the School of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication at INRTU. The participants of the language shift were 39 polytechnic students.

INRTU surveyors carried out aerial survey works in the interests of GeoProMining company
Employees and students of the department of surveying and geodesy took part in aerial surveying works on the territory of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Sarylakh-Surma" and "GeoProMining VerkhneMenkeche" companies (members of GK "GeoProMining" Group) were the survey client.

Restoration of the natural carcass of the Ushakovka River tributaries was proposed by the students - winners of "ArchSchool-2022"
The "Mnogorukavnaya" team won the ArchSchool workshop organized by INRTU and the Club of Young Architects (CYA). The students proposed to restore the natural framework of the Ushakovka River tributaries, they designed landscaping elements for the future Shchapovsky Boulevard.
