INRTU students reached the final of the CASE-IN Autumn Cup
Three student teams from the Siberian Federal District became finalists of the Autumn Cup of the International Engineering Championship "CASE-IN", part of the program "Russia is the Land of Opportunities". Students from Irkutsk, Tyumen, Krasnoyarsk, and Kemerovo will go to Moscow to capture the industry community with their ideas and make themselves known to the largest industrial companies

Employees of the Mineralogical Museum of INRTU presented samples of solidified lava at a lecture on the results of the Kamchatka expedition
On December 8, the INRTU Sidorov Mineralogical Museum hosted the first open lecture session. Polytechnic students told about their participation in the Kamchatka expedition and their visit to Tolbachik volcano. The students were the first visitors to the museum to see samples of solidified lava collected for the museum collection on the lava fields, craters and slag cones of the volcano

INRTU has improved its position in the GreenMetric-2022 global ranking
In 2022 INRTU ranked 204th in the overall ranking of the international rating agency GreenMetric, moving up 21 positions compared to 2021

INRTU is a participant of the "Priority 2030" program, presented the results of its work to the Council for Support of University Development Programs of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia
On December 1, INRTU presented the 2021-2022 report on the implementation of the Priority 2030 program to the Grants Council led by the Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education, Valery Falkov. The team from Irkutsk Technical University included: Rector Mikhail Korniakov, Scientific Director of the i.GeoDesign strategic project Alexander Parshin, Director of the School of Aviation Mechanical Engineering and Transportation Andrey Pashkov, Deputy CEO - Executive Director of PJSC Irkut Corporation Vasily Prutkovsky.
